I give this assignment to students after we have covered body parts and colours in French. It tests them on their comprehension of the vocabulary learned and it gives them a chance to be creative. There are 19 instruction that tell them what the monster they have to draw looks like. For example: il a des mains rouges...il a trois dents...il a des pieds bruns...etc. Students love this activity because although the instructions are the same, each one of them draws the monster the way they see it
