I found this to be an easy way to help students plan out what they are going to write about. They should not be writing complete sentences except for the Topic and Conclusion sentence. This is just about writing down ideas to help guide them through the writing process. For younger grades you can use one main idea and one detail or two main ideas depending on your student.
