Define Me: Back to School Intro Activity
Ready to go back to school? This activity will help you and your students do just that! In this activity, you ask students to choose a word that they believe defines them, or that they would like to define them over the course of this next year. This lesson is single-handedly my favorite one! This lesson works best with 12th graders who are getting ready to go out on their own whether it be off to college or into the workforce. These letters have had a positive impact on my former students, and I hope they have that for your students. I started this lesson 20 years ago and it has been one way that I stay in touch with former students. I love to see the wonderful things they will do once they graduate high school.
