This activity was designed to promote analysis of various representations of the sirens from Homer's Odyssey. It contains digital links to paintings and a great graphic organizer to promote student understanding. It also contains a great writing prompt that could be turned into a Socratic seminar or online discussion. As part of my "Week of Monsters Unit", my students LOVE this activity and it enriches their reading experience of the epic poem.
