My Budget Project
This is a great end of year math project! You can give students a career with a realistic salary and challenge them to create a monthly budget. Each slide will need to depict a different monthly cost like rent, car payment, etc. This will give the students a good real life look into the cost of living. At the end of the slides, there is an example project for to show students.

Whether individuals participate in competitive employment or sheltered employment, they need to be able to calculate their pay. Individuals can be paid in a variety of ways: hourly, by piece, commission, or salary. For this resource, I have chosen to focus on hourly pay.
