Hamilton Project for Deep Analysis (and lots of fun!)
This project is my favorite one of the year and my 7th and 8th graders adore it.We use the Reading Guide (listed separatelyHERE) as a check for understanding and a prompt for analysis. Monologue Analysis
An excel spreadsheet for students to analyze lines of their monologues to find meaning and expression in each line. First 4 lines are filled with examples from two different monologues. I typically copy this into a google spreadsheet so students can work electronically, and can share their work with me.
