Snowflake Bentley - A Symmetrical Adventure
In this hands-on activity, students will apply mathematical concepts to everyday life while using technology based learning to create and display discoveries based on concepts and principals of rotational symmetry. Through internet research and inquiry-based learning, students will discover just who the Snowflake Man was and his contributions to math, art, and literature.

This is an activity to do with students to practice arrays. There are 48 buildings that students can create to put in your classroom town. These buildings are meant to be able to differentiate within the classroom based on skill ability.

Plane Shape Geometry Dream House
Geometry project using 2D (plane) shapes and figures. Students will create their dream house and then, design it. Includes Smart Board slides, grid paper, and student handout. Embedded clip is of a dream beach tree house (approximately 3 minutes in length.)
