Do you love having your students work together analyzing texts? After introducing and teaching all comprehension skills, you're class is ready to do Skills Circles. Skills circles is a similar idea to literature circles. I would use this once a week to ensure students are practicing all their comprehension skills weekly. Assign your students into groups.
