Spell It Right is a game for all ages. This game comes with "bee cards" for 3, 4, 5, or larger letter words. You will need to laminate the "bee cards" before playing. English grammar - Irregular past tense: board game
Teaching grammar is not always very fun for the kids..until now!
I use this board game to teach irregular past tense verbs. Each child will have a marker (could be anything.. from a button to a rubber!) and a di for each board game. When child A throws the di, s/he has to move the marker and land on a sentence. S/he will then need to say the sentence with the correct past tense verb.

AY-AI Long A word game
This game is interactive game for students to decide if the word has ai or ay. Students are to take turn moving spaces and then rolling a die( make a die out of a wooden block and write ai and ay on it). Decide if what you rolled fit in that word. If it does then player may proceede to the next space.The player who is lucky enough to move all the way to the finish space wins!

QR Secret Code Breaker Cupcake Game
QR codes are a great way to get your students engaged in a lesson! In this literacy activity, students will be working alone or in pairs to break the code word using the secret code breaker. Once they think they have the correct answer they can scan the QR code to check their answer. All you need is an iPod, iPad, etc that has a QR Code Scanner on it.
