I made this to go with FOSS Environments 4th grade text book reading, Terresterial Environments pg. 3-12 (NGSS version). As well as FOSS Middle School text Populations and Ecosystems - 2nd Edition. Although it is a general graphic organizer that can be used for any lesson regarding Environments or as a note taking guide for an informational text reading on the topic of different environments.

This is a Reciprocal Reading organizer that allows students virtually and in person to gain deeper understanding and perspective of the text they are reading. The top sheet includes a check-off list for teachers, second page is a cheat sheet that includes sentence starters for the students, a page for each role, and at the end, an assessment to gauge student understanding.

Student Annotation Guide (Spanish & English Version) Dual Language
This resource is two pages. One page is an English version, and the other page is a Spanish version. You can give students one page or both, depending on your class's needs. This will be immensely helpful if you teach your students annotation as a strategy. It can be printed double sided with one side English and one side Spanish. Each student can have a copy for themselves. You could also have a literacy center where students read and annotate articles, and keep this posted at that center. This
