My Music Journal
Encourage your students to write across the curriculum by maintaining a Music Journal. Each month, allow your students to reflect on the music in the world around them. Align to the Responding to Music Standard through applying musical vocabulary, citing evidence from the music, explaining the elements of music, self-reflecting on their music preferences, and many more ideas which can be found on the Sample Sentence Starters pages.
