Using a Super Sentence Organizer, students learn how to take their boring sentences and make them Super Sentences. Through step-by-step guided lessons, students brainstorm adjectives, nouns, verbs, and where and when phrases, and use them to expand a simple sentence.

Daily Writing Prompts (September to November)
First set of daily writing prompts.
There is one writing prompt per day. The date and day number are at the top of each page, below that is the writing prompt. Each day asks the students to do something a little bit different.

This is the season(fall) for apple picking. Students love to eat apples but what kind? Here is a lesson which combines writing, charting and cooking an apple recipe. The students will write their name on the Smart Board, work on a worksheet to write about their favorite apple and a chart to work out to see which apple is the favorite in the class.Students will also be able to make their own apple book. Finally the students can all work to together to make a delicious apple recipe!
