Boggle for the Smartboard
This is a Boggle game for the smartboard. Its FREE, all I ask is you leave feed back and/or a rating please!
This has extra letter pieces and a colorful template. To create a new game board just rearrange the letters or add in some new ones which are provided. It also has a timer feature to add a little intensity and a word bank to allow students to share words they found with the class.
Ways to use this:
1. Smartboard center during daily 5 or guided reading.
2. Early finishers activity.

Polar Express Smartboard "Race to the North Pole" Jeopardy lesson
This smartboard lesson is a (Polar Express Christmas Jeopardy-like) lesson that I made up for the smartboard. The questions are trivia questions from the book and movie. As students get the answer correct they go to a gameboard in which their train races another train to the North Pole. A Smartboard is not required. Argument Game (Practise persuasive / exposition / debating language)
This is a notebook slide adapted from a simple 'argument' game. I used this in my fourth grade class as a fun game to practise persuasive language.
Two students at a time (could be played in teams). Each student presses interactive dice which determines which topic will be argued. Students then need to give 2 arguments for their side. Class can vote on who had the better points. Winner can continue with new opponent.

Composing Do Re Mi with Simple rhythms C D E Boomwhackers - Elementary Music
This resource helps your students create 8- and 16-beat phrase using Do Re and Mi with quarter notes, paired eighth notes, and quarter rests. I have color coordinated the notes to match C, D, and E for boomwhackers. The “infinite cloner” makes it easy to write whatever melody students want and then perform it with ease!

This SmartBoard lesson walks you through teaching the introduction, first paragraph and conclusion of an essay at a very basic level.
It was originally created for a 3rd grade class and covers Common Core ELA Standards:
3.W.3.1a: Introduce the topic or text they are writing about, state an opinion, and create and organizational structure that lists reasons.
3.W.3.1d: Provide a concluding statement or section
This could easily be modified and used at any grade level.

SmartBoard Attendance- Turkey Theme
I must admit, that this is another one of my favorites! It's perfect for November and the fall! Once the students put their feather behind the turkey for attendance it looks really cute - and attendance is done for the day!
