TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I trained as a primary school teacher in the UK and taught there for 6 years (ages 7-11). I taught in international schools in Cambodia, Singapore, Bali, Malaysia and Thailand (from age 3 - 8). I have worked as an environmental educator in the Philippines, Fiji and Belize where I supported teachers in addition to working with pupils of various ages. I also trained teachers in the Maldives. My background is in the arts, I am studying graphic design and putting it to good use creating educational resources. My current role is providing online tutoring to support students following disruptions to their education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe education should be an inclusive and empowering experience that builds children's self confidence and encourages their interests and talents to blossom. I am passionate about environmental education. Stories are often a starting point for my resources as there are a wonderful way to engage children and springboard further exploration.
