TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After four years as a public school teacher, I left the regular classroom to stay at home once my first child was born. I always thought that I'd return to teaching when my children started school and in a way I did: six years ago I began homeschooling. Between my public school and homeschooling experience, I have taught every grade from Pre-K to 5th!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching with unit studies where I can incorporate lots of different subject areas together as we focus on learning about a topic. All students learn differently so I try to include activities and strategies for all leaning styles through movement, songs, experiments, hands-on activities, technology, and much more.
