TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in the public schools for over ten years. I have taught elementary and secondary methods courses at California State University - Los Angeles. I was an instructional coach for mathematics for a local district for about four years. I currently teach Middle and High School Mathematics at American Leadership Academy in Queen Creek, AZ.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Inquiry. I want students to think. I don't want zombies learning a bunch of unrelated skills and procedures. Math needs to be explored, questioned, and developed in the brain.
