I teach in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have done 10th grade modern world history, regular and AP United States history, and Government/Economics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Focus on using historical and social science content to teach skills, including critical thinking, writing, discussion and oral proficiency, cooperative learning, document and multimedia analysis, and cultural competency. Using fact-based subjectivity; teaching students to value facts and evidence while also using them to argue, criticize, and think effectively. Holistic and empathetic cultural education, with an emphasis on diversity, respect, tolerance, and social justice.
