TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in elementary schools as a classroom teacher for 11 years. I have taught in both private and public schools and have had the privilege of working on some amazing teams of teachers! I am currently supervising and mentoring student teachers through a local University and creating TpT resources for my preschool sons (5yo and 3.5yo) and 2yo daughter. My children inspire much of what you see in my store. Many of the resources have been part of our learning journey at home, especially when homeschooling during the pandemic. While I miss my elementary students, it has been wonderful working with pre-service teachers in higher education and am finding new ways to challenge myself as an educator!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is student centered. I want my students excited, engaged and challenged. While my classroom is definitely structured and organized, I strive to make learning natural and fun! Now, as a homeschooling parent to preschoolers, making learning hands on and play based is extremely important.
