TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Alicia Woodfin is a certified librarian and kindergarten teacher living in Dallas, Texas. With multiple years of teaching experience, Alicia’s taught 4th grade math, served PREK-6th graders in the library, and has spent the majority of her time teaching KINDERGARTEN!
 Primary learners, developing number sense and establishing a love of literacy using PICTURE BOOKS are Alicia’s true passions and fuel her creativity! Outside of teaching, Alicia LOVES reviewing books and creating digital content that will get primary kiddos over-the-moon excited to create their own learning through hands-on and crafty learning elements.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Alicia Woodfin was awarded the 2019-20 Trailer Blazer Award from Richardson ISD as a Kindergarten Teacher for innovative teaching. Additionally, Alicia has served on a district level leadership team, led PD's and assisted with (in-district) kindergarten curriculum.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Alicia has a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master Degree in Library Science! She's certified to teach EC-6 and holds certification for elementary school librarianship.
