TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since 2003, I've dedicated myself to serving teachers and students, as a K - 5 math coach, classroom teacher and most recently a full time educational consultant. I believe that math should be clear and simply fun. In addition, I have an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, a K-5 Math endorsement and was awarded the prestigious Atlanta Families Award in 2010 for excellence in teaching. Over the past few years, I've been honored to present at various local and national conferences including Staff Development for Educators.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that all students can learn. Learning should be engaging and hands-on. I want my students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In 2013, I started the blog, www.mrelementarymath.com, as a platform to share resources that inspire, teach and support all educators who want to feel successful teaching math and foster a love for math in their students.  In addition to blogging, I love creating engaging resources for elementary teachers as well as traveling to warm climates with my wife Makini.
