TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my tenth year teaching 5th grade and I absolutely love it! I am continuing to create products that engage my students to get them excited for learning! I earned my Masters of Literacy degree from Judson University and my undergraduate degree from Illinois State University. I am also a Golden Apple Scholar of Illinois where I spent four summers teaching students in inner-city poverty schools in Chicago. In addition, I took over 700 hours of professional development courses. I also completed a year-long student teaching program where I taught in a 5th grade ESL class and a 2nd-grade class.
