TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching 19 years. This will be year 15! 14 years were been in first grade and I'm now our school's reading specialist. I absolutely love teaching. I have always dreamed of being a teacher and feel blessed to be able teach.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to use hands on and inquiry based learning. I believe in making learning fun while still integrating and mastering the standards.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I've been nominated for Disney's Teacher of the year twice, as well as included in Who's Who Among America Teachers for two years.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a degree in Elementary Education grades K-8 from Miami University and a Masters in Reading from Xavier University.
