TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught secondary math for 12 years! I spent the first 4 years teaching 7th grade, the next 4 years teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 Honors to 8th graders, and my most recent experience is at a high school teaching 9th graders algebra 1.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like my notes to be neat, organized, colorful, and of course MEANINGFUL. I use interactive math notebooks, therefore lots of foldables! If you are not using an interactive notebook yet... YOU NEED TO START!!! I also use a lot of technology- PowerPoint presentations for daily lessons, Jeopardy Review games, MATHO (Math Bingo), and for independent practice I love using Google Forms and BOOM Cards. I am very open to learning new strategies. I love to collaborate, and I am so happy to be able to share my creations on TPT. If you have any questions or need help with ANYTHING, let me know.
