By Kacie Travis I started my teaching career in 2005 and have taught 6th grade math, 7th grade math, Accelerated Math, Honors Algebra I, Bridge to Algebra II, Geometry, and Honors Geometry.
I believe the best way to help students achieve is through building relationships. Once there is a strong rapport and I know my students well, I can make the learning relevant and rigorous. I believe in meeting students where they are and taking them as far as I can! In the classroom, I take a balanced approach with my students. We do independent and collaborative work. We do teacher-led and student-led. We do seatwork and projects.
