TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Welcome to my store! Here you will find creative, practical, classroom-tested resources for ELA, Yearbook, Kids 4 Christ & more!
I have over 16 years of experience teaching English and journalism. I have experience at the middle school, high school, and college level. Rural and suburban. Regular, honors, and inclusion.
To me, my job is about teaching students to see, make, and appreciate real-world connections. The world around them is full of opportunity, and I want them to notice that and seize it.
In addition to all this... I have worked as a Common Core ELA training specialist. My store is geared directly to helping teachers integrate creative, standards-based teaching in their classrooms smoothly and effectively, so they can have their own classroom success stories.
I look forward to teaching the students who walk into my classroom every day, and I am passionate about fostering classroom success stories through the lessons, materials, and resources I create -- but most importantly through the relationships that I am fortunate enough to develop.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Engaging, student-centered, collaborative, hands-on, critical thinking. I believe all my products are user friendly, keeping the student and teacher in mind.
Fun, innovative, standards-driven secondary English teacher
