Hilary Statum - Pencils to Pigtails

I just finished my 15th year of teaching. I've taught 4th grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade, transitional first, kindergarten, and now I'm an ESL teacher for my district. My heart is with the younger grades. I love to develop resources for the preschool through 1st grade classroom. I am also the teacher of our school system's Parent English Class. I have been organizing this class for 15 years. It is the highlight of my week. I love my dedicated parents! I am a mentor teacher at my school which means I am a classroom teacher but I also evaluate other teachers.
