TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Over the past six years I have had the privilege of teaching in both special education and general education classrooms with students from kindergarten through seventh grade. I have always been passionate about educating children and feel blessed teach them every day.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is my hope that students in my classroom find a learning environment that is filled with fun and interactive learning. I want to allow their imaginations to soar, while challenging them to master the skills and knowledge base required by the curriculum of my school district.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

While I've won several awards and scholarships the honors I treasure most are the respect of my colleagues and the love I receive from my children.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my B.A. from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. I received a M.A. in child psychology from East Carolina University. Then I went back to school for my teaching certificate from the University of Georgia and my Ed.S. from the University of West Georgia.
