TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my 5th year of teaching general music at an elementary school (K-5).

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use both Kodaly and Orff methods. I have been trained in both. I focus my lessons on the prepare, present, practice approach and love to use manipulatives and visual aides. I also direct The Columbia Chorus (elementary choir grades 3-5) and BLAST ORFF (elementary instrument ensemble grades 4-5). My school is a "Leader in Me" school and I love it!
