By ECEducation101 ECEducation101 is a collaborative shop by Mary Catherine Tatoy, creator of Fun-A-Day, and Shaunna Evans, creator of Fantastic Fun and Learning. Mary Catherine was a kindergarten teacher for 5 years. After some time at home, she taught preschool for 7 years. After 7 years teaching kindergarten and first grade in a public school, Shaunna taught home preschool to her own children and some of their closest friends.
We believe early childhood education should focus on hand-on, playful activities balanced with many opportunities for open exploration and free play.
Shaunna received the Rookie Teacher of the Year award her first year teaching.
Shaunna received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her master's in early childhood education from the University of Central Florida.
