TEACHING EXPERIENCE

1990-1999 Director of Child Care Program for a National Youth Organization. Licensed Child Care Professional. K-12 years. Youth Advocate, Mentor, and Coach. Served on Youth Club and Little League Board of Directors.
1999-Present: Author/Illustrator of Kinder Printables, Crayonbox Learning, and Crayon Box Classroom.
2016-Present: Full time Teacher in a residential youth shelter grades 6-12.
Extensive professional and personal experience working with students with IEP, 504, in Special Education or ALE. As well as students with moderate to severe behavioral issues.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in teaching the individual child. Not all children learn the same way, and not all lesson plans are flexible enough to reach the children that have special learning considerations. All of the materials that I create are designed to be adapted to the children they are intended for.
