TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching elementary art for over 10 years. My experience ranges from teaching in title one schools to Creative arts magnet schools and everywhere in between! I've taught in brand new buildings, mobile classrooms and even art on a cart!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style can best be described as energetic, structured, occasionally messy, always fun and full of love, humor and lots of color. I adore collaborative art projects, art that gives back to the community and instilling a love and respect of the visual arts into each of my students.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

When I'm not teaching you can find me painting portraits of all the doggies in the world via my side business, Floppy Ear Studios. I have also been working as muralist for over 5 years via The Color Chemists. When I'm not arting, I am enjoying coffee, sunlight, being a crazy plant lady, obsessing over children's literature, my rescue dog Maddie, 90's hip hop, and lots of family time with my husband and son.
