I taught the Carden Method for 15 years, grades pre-school through third grade. After owning a rubber stamp manufacturing business and home schooling my children, I became the Special Needs Director for 7th and 8th graders at a private school for 12 years, overseeing the special needs students. I taught in-services for the teachers as well as monitored the students' accommodations in the classroom. I gave both pull-out and push-in help with weekly one-on-one appointments with my students as well as daily study halls. I gave push-in help in their math and English classes.

I have been a Barton Reading and Spelling tutor since 2014. I was certified in the Barton System by Susan Barton in 2015. I love working one-on-one with students age 6-64.
