By 3 Sweet Peas I spent many years teaching English Language Arts, computer writing, and A.I.S. in grades 7,8,9,and 10. Though I loved every minute of it, 6 years ago I made a big switch, and have been doing small group instruction for grades PreK-3 ever since!
Student led, hands-on, learning focused on fun, new, and interactive ways to explore (while still meeting core standards)!
2009- Teacher as Researcher Award, SJFC. 2009- Citizenship Education Award, VFWMC, and the best honor of all, being a mom to my 3 little sweet peas!
Bachelor’s Degree in English, with a concentration in Secondary Education. In addition, I have a Master’s Degree in Literacy birth-12 and Literacy Coaching.
