What educators are saying
Description
TASK 1
As a visual person and an art teacher I struggled to comprehend edTPA language. Creating this portfolio was an undertaking, I was thrilled to receive a high score of 66 out of 75. I hope this sample can help you create your edTPA Visual Art portfolio with ease. I removed all edTPA language for copyright purposes. I also clarified the prompts using plan language. Always refer to your official edTPA handbook.
Task 1: Planning Includes:
- Task 1- Part A: Context for Learning
- Task 1- Part B: Lesson Plans
- Task 1- Part D: Assessment Materials
- Task 1 Part E: Planning Commentary
- Official Rubric
*Remember, this sample is only to be used as an example. edTPA uses sophisticated technology to detect copying of materials. I submitted this exam in March of 2020.

Relax and follow the edTPA rubrics. Repeat yourself over and over. Reflect on your teaching and make connections to education research. You got this.
Good Luck!
