Jen Wood

I have been an Early Childhood teacher since 2001. I have taught full day and half day kindergarten and toddlers in two states and in two countries! My students inspire me everyday to give my very best. They are always curious to learn about the world around them and I want to do everything I can to help them achieve their dreams. From the time I was in kindergarten myself, I knew I wanted to teach kinders someday. I absolutely love what I do and I couldn't see myself doing anything else ♥ I currently teach kindergarten at an International School. My family loves living overseas and we are excited for all the adventures that it involves!

We sing all day long and almost everything is hands on. I strive to create a developmentally appropriate learning environment for my young learners.

I have a Master’s degree in Learning and Leading in the Field with an emphasis on early childhood education. My thesis was on Trauma-Informed Care in the classroom. This is something I am very passionate about and I strive to learn all that I can do I can best serve the students in my care.

Pastor's wife and mother of four beautiful children that keep my on my toes (I love every minute of it!) My dream has always been to be a wife, a mother, and a teacher and God has blessed me with all three.
