Zoey and Sassafras is a great new beginning chapter book series that teaches kids about the scientific method in a fun and easy to understand way. This novel study is the perfect book companion for your Zoey and Sassafras unit study!

THIS NOVEL STUDY IS FOR BOOK #1 AND INCLUDES:

1. Comprehension Cards-For each chapter, there are 3 comprehension questions. There is one question on each card. Cards are put on a book ring for a fun and easy way to review the chapter in groups or individually.

2. Vocabulary Journal-This journal is the size of a half sheet of paper, and it is stapled together to form a little book. The purpose of the vocabulary journal is for students to do different things with the vocabulary words in order to grow their vocabulary, rather than simply memorize definitions. Students use a dictionary, write sentences, and draw pictures of words from the book.

3. Chapter by Chapter Activity Book-There is one page for each chapter. Each page focuses on a different skill, including grammar, writing, STEM, art, character education, and more. Below are the activities for each chapter.
