What educators are saying

My students enjoyed this book and these questions helped to guide me through our small reading group! Thank you!
Great resource for a small book club focused on comprehension! Students could use it independently after reading. This resource generated good conversation between students.

Description

This product is a packet of comprehension questions for the book Young Cam Jansen and the lost tooth. There are questions for each chapter. It is a good way to for the students to practice answering in complete sentences and going back in the story to find the answer. I have also included journal prompts for each chapter as well as a daily worksheet (with a rubric) for the students to keep track of their progress while reading the book. I have used this for my higher level first grade students. It has been used during guided reading as well as for independent work.

I have also included the common core standards that this unit covers for grades 1 and 2

*For those home-schooling or distance learning, this is a packet that could be printed and then completed independently as your child or student reads the book.
