What educators are saying

I purchased this bundle a few years ago and still use it. I love the collaborative aspect of the completed quilts, the seasonal options, and multiple writing options. The writing options accommodate many learning abilities and types. Fun and good writing practice!
I love this!! I bought this resource late in the year so I have only used April and May seasonal quilts, but this is the BEST!! The variety of options is amazing and the students truly enjoy these quilts. Easy to display and fun to complete!

These quilt squares have been designed to be joined together to create a large quilt square display. With 7 prompts for each seasonal theme, each in 2 different sized versions, you can use one for each season or use them all.

This activity combines writing and art as students write about the topics then color the quilt square sections. Students are always very proud to see their writing displayed this way and teachers often comment on the compliments that they receive about the quilt display.

Please see each individual listing to see what is included in each set.

    Grade Levels:

    • The writing prompts quilts have been marked as being suitable for 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade.
    • Some teachers in 1st grade have used these successfully but the space for students to write may be a little tight although they can be enlarged on a copier.
    • Teachers have also commented that they have successfully used the quilts with older students also including 5th grade to 8th grade.
