Description

Writing Portfolio! If each of your students has a file-folder which they use for their writing throughout the year, this assignment is for you! This lesson will take your students through decorating the outside of their writing folders in a useful way that will benefit them every time they work on their writing. You’ll also love to watch your new students be creative and follow directions at the beginning of the year. *Download the FREE PREVIEW to see all the materials more closely.

Students will decorate their folders in an organized way to include the four parts of speech (noun, verb, adjective, adverb), overused words replacements (see list below), and the 5 parts of the writing process (prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, publishing).
