Description

This is my tried and true way of teaching students (especially those that struggle with organizing their writing) to write a 5 paragraph essay. I taught this method at a professional development seminar for teachers from 3 different schools. This is the PowerPoint I created and use to teach it to my own students. I also have created an outline of the planning process for you to hand out to students AND a blank version for them to "fill in" until they become comfortable with doing it on their own. I have effectively taught this to students as low as 3rd/4th grade all the way up to high school. The PowerPoint and other information may need to be adapted depending on the grade you are working with. I will also be happy to answer any additional questions you might have about the process. This truly simplifies the processes of writing a 5 paragraph essay. ****DIGITAL GRAPHIC ORGANIZER & SLIDESHOW (GOOGLE)*****
