Writing Numbers Bundle: Differentiated Developmental Instruction

1. PlayDoh Mats.
This is a great multisensory pre-writing task. Cards can be used as a math station to: Read and Sequence numerals 0-20; Use base 10 blocks giving kids a chance to develop one to one correspondence; Practice left to right sequencing skills, Gain understanding of quantity; and Aid in subitizing skills!

2. Tracing Cards & Classroom Number Poster 1-20.
Go-Dots and arrows give children the visual information they need to start at the top and go the correct direction. When children practice correctly they develop the correct motor memory of number formations. Dice demonstrate quantity and aid in subitizing skills! The classroom poster gives your children access to this information at any time.

3. Constructing Numbers with Lines and Curves.
Before children can write they can put together puzzles. Constructing numbers with lines and curves is an effective readiness skill for number writing and is an incredibly fun activity.

4. Number Instruction worksheets: #s 0-20.
Sheets are grouped by similar formation so that children can use skills that they have learned to make the next numbers. These sheets are not arranged in numerical order as they provide instruction based on movement learning. Teacher’s guide.
