HERE'S HOW IT WORKS! (with sound effects in ALL scenes)

  1. SCENE #1: UNDER THE SEA- Students explore the 360 scene, clicking on the fish hooks to learn the 6 effective hook methods. They will see simple explanations and examples and, then head back to their Google Slides (or paper) to practice writing hooks for each. TOPICS AND PROMPTS INCLUDED! Finally, students must solve the puzzle to escape to the next scene.
  2. SCENE #2: LOST HOOK ISLAND- Students must rescue a fisherman and help him find his hooks lost in the sea after his ship capsized. They must search for the "messages in a bottle" to identify the hook types. The only way to escape the island is to get correct answers!
  3. SCENE #3: BAD HOOK SWAMP- Students learn common bad hooks and why they are ineffective. Here, they can collect coins and play a bad hook match game.
  4. SCENE #4: CONGRATULATIONS- This cute scene let's students know they escaped and offers congratulations!
  5. COMPANION SHEETS- Students easily navigate the room and record their answers using the companion sheets. These come in Google Slides AND printable sheets for those who enjoy writing on paper.
