Description

This printable writing graphic organizer pack includes EVERYTHING you need to support your elementary students during personal narrative, informational, and persuasive, and how-to writing projects. The organizers help students in the pre-write part of the writing process. They make for a great writing station or writer' workshop in upper elementary. They are also no-prep and printable to save your precious time!

Who?

The organizers work for any class from 1st to 5th working on becoming strong writers!

How?

Print & copy!

Why?

Students needs support when learning to write in a new style. Offering them a pre-writing organizer helps them see the format for that type of writing. Students will become stronger writers by having this framework in their pocket. Students will use their pre-write organizer to transfer their writing to the page!

Content:

4 rubrics (personal narrative, persuasive, informational, how-to)

There are 7 personal narrative prompts (each prompt has an organizer with more space for details and one with less space for details to differentiate)

There are 12 persuasive opinion prompts (each prompt has an organizer with more space for details and one with less space for details to differentiate)

There are 4 informational report prompts (each prompt has an organizer with more space for details and one with less space for details to differentiate)

There are 7 how-to prompts (each prompt has an organizer with more space for details and one with less space for details to differentiate)

That makes 30 organizers altogether!

This pack will be perfect to use as a resource for the writing process. Students can use the rubrics and organizers to pre-write and then cultivate a first draft and final draft using their organizer. Each time you are ready for a new writing unit, a prompt is right there ready for you!
