    • Tips and strategies to think critically about that skill with their text
    • An organizer for students to use while reading

    - Page two of each organizer includes:

    • Sentence starters to guide students to write about their reading
    • A space for students to type or write their response
    • A simplified rubric, based on the Calkins learning progressions
