Description
This unit includes five days of writing lessons and activities that highlight just a few great African-Americans that changed history. The lessons this week will touch on the background of African-Americans who have been explorers in a variety of fields such as science, politics, sports, and humanitarian needs.
The writing lessons in this packet will spend one day studying and writing about each of the following people: Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and Martin Luther King Jr..
