Would You Rather? Science Edition (Game for Middle and High School)

Build community in your secondary Science classes with this ice breaker / game / student led activity for middle and high schoolers.

The product includes a pdf version of 35 different Would You Rather questions relating to Science, Engineering, and Technology, student instructions, and teacher considerations. This is a great class building game or ice breaker for the beginning of the year or a fun filler game for a Friday or whenever you have an extra 10 or 15 minutes.

The activity is student led! You select a student to come up and be the teacher (reader), while the rest of the class stands up and moves to the center of the classroom. Your student “teacher” now reads the first slide and your students decide which side they would rather be on. I usually ask some follow up questions of individual students about why they chose that side. Then everyone walks back to the center and your “teacher” presents the next question.
