40 fun question prompts
Project a slide. Then have the teacher or a student ask, “Would you rather _____ or _____?” Hand gestures for numbers 1 or 2 are provided for students to first “show” their choice, which also makes a great scaffold for including newcomers. Finally, students share their reasons orally or in writing using the sentence frame for support.
This versatile resource can be used to build oral language skills, as well as writing skills, in a small group setting, whole group setting, with a partner or in a learning center.
A blank page is included in the PDF version for students to create their own “Would You Rather” question.
