World of Artists - Careers in Art Bulletin Board & Word Wall

Share a snapshot about artistic careers and vocations with this print and post bulletin board set. Using this poster or word wall kit you can display a variety of jobs and career paths in art, are art related, or have ties to the art world. From the traditional jobs like ceramist and painter to the more recent jobs like font designer, toy builder, website designer, and more! There are a lot of careers for our students to think about!

I made the pack to be printed and posted on a bulletin board but I’ve also toyed with the idea of using them as flashcards and displayed as “Art Job of the Week” for discussion with students. It’s a good idea to always have kids thinking about the future and envisioning all the ways they can be involved in art.

My school district has a big focus on preparing all students for college and careers. We want our students to be on track and on time, ready to graduate and go on to college or join the working world. I made a musical bulletin board set so that I can display a variety of jobs and career paths that students can find in the musical world. When my mom (an art teacher) heard about it she said, “Well you should make one for me!” When you sit down and think about it, anything you see around you (unless it’s organic) was fabricated, designed, organized, and created by an artist.

Included in this set:

*52 different Art-related Jobs with the Paint Font.

*12 different Art-related Career Fields in bold font.

*A file is attached containing letters to print and cut out that can spell any of these phrases for a title or banner on your bulletin board: "Artistic Careers" "Careers In Art" "Artistic Future" or "World of Artists".

*All slides can be printed in black and white but are set in multiple colors with black writing.

***If there are any jobs that you would like to have included in this set PLEASE let me know and I’ll gladly include them and update the set! I’m constantly looking to make this set better for all teachers (myself included!)***
