The first lesson involves students retrieving facts from informational texts about Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin and Franklin Roosevelt, and writing these on to a fact sheet. In the second lesson students need to use these facts to write three to four paragraphs about the individual World War 2 leaders. In the third lesson students need to use prompt sheets to write up an introduction and a conclusion. In the final lesson your class will need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before writing up their work on a neat copy using the template provided.
