Description

Need help encouraging students to add detail and elaboration to what they say and write in world language class? Would you like their communication to be more clear and to achieve gains in proficiency? These interpersonal speaking, interpersonal writing, presentational writing, and presentational speaking with cultural comparison performance-based rubrics for world language are intended to give meaningful feedback for novice to advanced learners of a target language in a proficiency-based classroom so they can become better communicators and improve their communication skills in all three modes of communication. My hope is that it also makes your life easier because I know how hard the world language teacher life is. Any tool I can help you accomplish that fills my cup to the brim!

How does it work?

Because this is a reference tool that teachers and students will use frequently, I recommend either...
❋ method 1: have stacks of them ready to go at a moment's notice for everyday activities that involve partner feedback

❋ method 2: put in a clear sleeve protector so that students can use Vis à vis pens and re-use them each time. They can use a new color each time they grade a partner so they can see how they are improving.
❋ method 3: upload digitally to LMS so that students can give feedback online--no paper required

Students can then speak or write, referring to the rubrics as needed to make sure their achieving their goals and to improve proficiency.
